Market Chatter: Google's Public Policy Head in India Steps Down

09:36 AM EST, 02/13/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Alphabet's (GOOG, GOOGL) Google ( GOOG ) head of public policy in India, Sreenivasa Reddy, "is no longer associated with the company," Reuters reported Thursday, citing a Google ( GOOG ) spokesperson.

The spokesperson didn't elaborate on the reasons for Reddy's departure, according to the report.

Iarla Flynn, policy head for northern Europe, will serve as policy lead for India in the interim, the report said, citing an internal memo from Google ( GOOG ).

Google ( GOOG ) didn't immediately respond to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
