11:00 AM EDT, 10/10/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Grupo Mexico said Friday it regretted Citigroup's ( C ) decision to reject its offer for Banamex, the US bank's retail unit in Mexico, Reuters reported Friday.

The company said in a statement that its proposal met all regulatory requirements and Citi's goal of divesting 100% of the business, according to the report.
