07:49 AM EDT, 06/13/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Honda Motor ( HMC ) will roll out its electric van in October, starting at 2.4 million Japanese yen ($15,520), Bloomberg reported late Wednesday, citing the company at a launch event.

The all-electric N-VAN e: will be launched in four variants, accommodating one to four persons, the report added, citing the automaker.

The N-VAN e: will be "available at affordable prices for normal people," Bloomberg quoted Noriyuki Takakura, Honda's ( HMC ) vice president of Japan operations, as saying.

The Japanese automaker carried out a trial with Yamato Transport to test the new EV van, the report said.

Honda ( HMC ) did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
