Market Chatter: Honeywell, Carlyle, Others Potentially Interested in Boeing's Jeppesen

03:10 PM EDT, 03/28/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Boeing ( BA ) navigation unit Jeppesen could attract bids from Honeywell ( HON ) , Carlyle (CG), and others, with an expected price tag of over $8 billion, Reuters reported Friday, citing sources.

The company is anticipated to invite bids in the coming weeks, sources familiar with the matter told the news outlet. The offers could value the business between $8 billion and $9 billion, three sources said.

The interested private equity groups, who have partnered for the potential acquisition, include Vista Equity and Warburg Pincus, Advent International and Permira, and TPG and Francisco Partners, three sources told Reuters. Other potential bidders include aerospace manufacturer TransDigm, and buyout firms Thoma Bravo and Silver Lake.

Honeywell ( HON ) and Carlyle had expressed interest, but it was unclear whether they plan to submit final offers, Reuters reported.

Permira declined to comment, while Boeing ( BA ) and other bidders did not immediately reply to MT Newswires.
