11:43 AM EDT, 10/03/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Huawei Technologies' Ascend 910C artificial intelligence processors used advanced components from Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing ( TSM ) , Samsung Electronics, and SK Hynix, Bloomberg reported Friday, citing an investigation by information platform TechInsights.

TechInsights found that Taiwan Semiconductor manufactured the dies used in the Huawei accelerators, while Samsung and SK Hynix supplied older-generation type of high-bandwidth memory in two different samples of Ascend 910C, the report said.

Both Samsung and SK Hynix said they have ceased business with Huawei and comply with US export regulations, while Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing ( TSM ) said it has not supplied Huawei since mid-September 2020, according to the report.
