08:55 AM EDT, 08/12/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Janus Henderson Group ( JHG ) has agreed to buy Victory Park Capital Advisors in an attempt to expand in the private credit market, Bloomberg reported Monday.

Victory Park has $6 billion in assets under management and will add to Janus Henderson's ( JHG ) $36 billion securitized asset business currently based on liquid products, Bloomberg reported, citing a statement it reviewed.

The deal will allow Janus to gain exposure to more obscure private financings ranging from consumer debt to music royalties, according to the report.
