02:44 PM EDT, 10/02/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Jefferies Financial Group ( JEF ) is in talks with investors for a roughly $1 billion financing support for a potential buyout of industrial manufacturer Form Technologies by Ares Management ( ARES ) , Bloomberg reported Wednesday, citing people with knowledge of the matter.

The package may include a $650 million term loan, $100 million revolver, $150 million of preferred equity and $125 million in common shares, the report said citing the people.

Ares declined to comment, while Jefferies, Form Technologies and its owner Partners Group did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' requests for comment.
