Market Chatter: JPMorgan Advances Succession Plans as CEO Jamie Dimon Hints at Retirement

02:44 PM EDT, 05/20/2024 (MT Newswires) -- JPMorgan Chase ( JPM ) Chief Executive Officer Jamie Dimon told investors his retirement is no longer a five-year plan, Bloomberg reported Monday.

The executive has previously hinted at a timetable that would see him at the largest bank's helm for five years. But, the bank is now advancing a succession plan, with key executives Jenn Piepszak, Troy Rohrbaugh, and Marianne Lake recently moved to new senior roles as it prepares for leadership transitions, according to the Bloomberg report.

JPMorgan ( JPM ) did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.

JPMorgan ( JPM ) shares were down 3.7% in recent trading.
