Market Chatter: JPMorgan Chase Sees Key Credit Team Departures in Hong Kong
Aug 14, 2025 12:20 PM

03:02 PM EDT, 08/14/2025 (MT Newswires) -- JPMorgan Chase ( JPM ) has seen the recent departure of two credit traders and its head of credit sales in Hong Kong, Bloomberg reported Thursday, citing people familiar with the situation.

Edward Wong, head of Hong Kong credit sales, and trader Bosco Leung resigned this month, while another trader, Edward Marsh, departed several months ago, the people told Bloomberg.

While it is unclear if the total number of credit roles has grown, the departures underscore the aggressive competition among rival banks to secure top-tier talent in the Asian market, the report said.

JPMorgan Chase ( JPM ) didn't immediately reply to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
