06:40 AM EDT, 05/23/2024 (MT Newswires) -- JPMorgan Chase ( JPM ) has agreed to pay $100 million to settle an investigation by the US Commodity Futures Trading Commission for trade reporting lapses, Reuters reported late Wednesday, citing a source with direct knowledge of the matter.

JPMorgan ( JPM ) has agreed to admit to breaking the CFTC rules as part of the settlement, the report said.

JPMorgan ( JPM ) has paid in the past more than $348 million to the regulators over a related issue, according to the report.

JPMorgan ( JPM ) didn't immediately respond to requests for comment from MT Newswires.
