Market Chatter: JPMorgan Chase to End Hybrid Work in Coming Weeks
Jan 7, 2025 10:04 AM

12:44 PM EST, 01/07/2025 (MT Newswires) -- JPMorgan Chase ( JPM ) is expected to announce the end of its hybrid work option for thousands of employees in the coming weeks, Bloomberg reported Tuesday, citing people familiar with the matter.

The lender is planning to replace an existing three-day mandate for some staff and return to its pre-pandemic attendance policy, the report said.

The decision to require all employees to go back to the office five days a week could still change, according to the report.

About 60% of the company's employees, including many traders and retail branch workers, already operate under the five-days-a-week requirement, Bloomberg said.

JPMorgan ( JPM ) declined to comment when contacted by MT Newswires.

Shares were up 1.7% in recent trading.
