02:50 PM EDT, 05/01/2024 (MT Newswires) -- JPMorgan Chase ( JPM ) is set to hire Alexander Mayer for a senior role in its Germany, Austria and Switzerland business, Bloomberg reported Wednesday, citing people familiar with the matter.

Mayer, head of Germany and Austria investment banking at Goldman Sachs Group ( GS ) , is leaving the bank after almost 25 years, Bloomberg reported, citing an internal memo.

Representatives for JPMorgan ( JPM ) and Goldman declined to comment to Bloomberg.

JPMorgan ( JPM ) declined to comment to MT Newswires, while Goldman did not immediately respond to a request for comment by MT Newswires.
