03:58 PM EDT, 09/17/2024 (MT Newswires) -- JPMorgan Chase ( JPM ) has hired Ray Raimondi from Citigroup ( C ) to head its mergers and acquisitions division, which focuses on private equity firms and sovereign wealth funds in the Americas, Bloomberg reported Tuesday.

Raimondi is expected to join JPMorgan ( JPM ) later this year as the head of North America Strategic Investor Group M&A, according to a memo seen by Bloomberg.

Raimondi most recently led global financial sponsors and alternative investors M&A at Citigroup ( C ).

Neither JPMorgan ( JPM ) nor Citigroup ( C ) immediately responded to comment requests by MT Newswires.
