06:36 AM EDT, 10/24/2025 (MT Newswires) -- JPMorgan Chase ( JPM ) intends to allow institutional clients to use their bitcoin (BTC-USD) and ether (ETH-USD) holdings as collateral for loans by the end of 2025, Bloomberg News reported Friday, citing people familiar with the matter.

The program will be offered globally. It will depend on a third-party custodian for the safeguarding of the pledged tokens, the unnamed sources told the news outlet.

JPMorgan ( JPM ) didn't immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
