02:00 PM EDT, 10/28/2024 (MT Newswires) -- JPMorgan Chase ( JPM ) has filed lawsuits in at least three federal courts against customers who allegedly exploited a technical glitch in ATMs, allowing them to withdraw funds before a check bounced, CNBC reported Monday.
The suits are targeting several individuals who withdrew the highest amounts, including one man who owes the bank $290,939.47 after an unidentified accomplice deposited a counterfeit check for $335,000, CNBC reported, citing the bank's court filing.
