04:54 AM EDT, 06/05/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Kimberly-Clark ( KMB ) is close to selling its Kleenex and tissue businesses outside of North America to Brazil's Suzano (SUZ) for about $3.5 billion, The Wall Street Journal reported Wednesday, citing people familiar with the matter.

The transaction could be completed as soon as Thursday, according to the report.

Kimberly-Clark ( KMB ) could not be reached by MT Newswires for comment, while Suzano didn't immediately respond to a request for comment.

Suzano shares were down 1.5% in recent premarket activity Thursday.
