06:53 AM EST, 01/10/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Kinder Morgan ( KMI ) temporarily shut down its SFPP West and CALNEV fuel pipelines in Los Angeles on Jan. 8 due to power outages caused by the wildfires, Reuters reported Friday, citing the pipeline operator.
According to the report, the pipelines are not directly impacted by the fires, and service is expected to resume once power is restored.
The Las Vegas Review-Journal, citing Clark County officials, reported late Thursday that fuel flow will be restored into the valley "in the next 12-24 hours."
Kinder Morgan ( KMI ) did not immediately respond to requests for comment from MT Newswires.
