06:04 AM EDT, 09/23/2025 (MT Newswires) -- KKR (KKR) is holding its first board meeting in Asia this week in Tokyo, Reuters reported Tuesday, citing a company spokesperson.
The two-day meeting, which began Monday, includes top leadership such as co-founders George Roberts and Henry Kravis, and co-CEOs Joe Bae and Scott Nuttall, the spokesperson told Reuters in an email.
They added that Japan is KKR's core market in Asia, where the firm has been investing for nearly 20 years.
KKR's board includes notable members such as Snap (SNAP) co-founder Evan Spiegel, former Alcatel-Lucent CEO Patricia Russo, and ex-Morgan Stanley co-president Robert Scully, Reuters said.
KKR did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
