07:55 AM EDT, 07/08/2024 (MT Newswires) -- KKR & Co ( KKR ) is considering the revival of the sale of Singapore-based global supply chain and logistics company Goodpack in a potentially multibillion-dollar deal, The Wall Street Journal reported Monday, citing people familiar with the plan.
The sources said that the private-equity firm is in early discussions with advisers to sell Goodpack and a formal sales process could start in late Q3 or early Q4 if there is market interest.
KKR acquired Goodpack in 2014 for more than $1 billion after which it was delisted, according to WSJ.
One of the sources said that the company considered a potential sale in 2020, but it failed to materialize due to the pandemic and volatile market conditions.
KKR did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
