Market Chatter: Kohl's Opts Out of Sponsoring Republican National Convention Events
Jun 7, 2024 5:26 AM

08:09 AM EDT, 06/07/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Kohl's (KSS) has decided not to sponsor any events associated with the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee this summer, CNBC reported Friday.

"Kohl's is not a political organization nor donor and is not sponsoring nor engaging in any specific RNC events," a company spokesperson was quoted as saying.

The retailer is based in suburban Milwaukee.

Kohl's hasn't financially supported Republican or Democratic conventions in more than 10 years, CNBC reported, citing Federal Election Commission filings.

Neither the RNC nor Kohl's responded to MT Newswires' requests for comment.
