03:15 PM EDT, 07/09/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Kroger ( KR ) released the list of stores, distribution centers and plants it intends to sell to C&S Wholesale Grocers to secure regulatory approval for its planned merger with Albertsons ( ACI ), Bloomberg reported Tuesday, citing Kroger ( KR ) Chief Executive Officer Rodney McMullen's memo to employees.
The list comprises 124 stores in Washington state, 101 in Arizona, 91 in Colorado and 63 in California, along with several locations Albertsons ( ACI ) reacquired, including 12 Haggen stores in Washington, the report said. It also includes a Colorado dairy plant and six distribution centers in four states.
Employees at affected locations are being notified and will shift to C&S after completion of the deal with C&S assuming pay, health plans and collective bargaining agreements, Bloomberg reported.
