03:00 PM EDT, 09/25/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Canadian payments software company Lightspeed Commerce ( LSPD ) is working with a financial adviser to explore a potential sale, among other options, Reuters reported Wednesday, citing people familiar with the matter.

Lightspeed has enlisted investment bankers at JPMorgan Chase ( JPM ) to assess its options and explore the interest of potential buyers, which may include private equity firms, the sources reportedly told the news outlet.

Neither Lightspeed nor JPMorgan ( JPM ) immediately responded to requests for comment from MT Newswires.
