02:30 PM EDT, 09/16/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Live Nation Entertainment's ( LYV ) Ticketmaster is under investigation by the US Federal Trade Commission over compliance with a law to prevent automated ticket resales on its platform, Bloomberg reported late Monday, citing people with knowledge of the matter.

The investigation is at an advanced stage and a decision on whether to file a case could be made in weeks, sources told Bloomberg.

The probe started during former FTC Chair Lina Khan's tenure but has gained momentum during the Trump administration, according to the sources.

Live Nation and Ticketmaster did not immediately respond to requests for comments from MT Newswires.

Live Nation shares were down 1.5% in recent trading.
