05:27 AM EDT, 06/11/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Lockheed Martin ( LMT ) said countries seeking Patriot interceptor missiles may continue to face uncertainty over delivery schedules even as the defense contractor works to sharply increase capacity, the Financial Times reported Wednesday, citing a senior company executive.
Brian Dunn, vice president for strategy and business development of missiles and fire control at Lockheed Martin ( LMT ), said the company can expand manufacturing capacity but does not determine how missile supplies are distributed among US allies, according to the report.
Lockheed earlier this year secured a $4.7 billion Pentagon deal to raise annual production of PAC-3 missiles to 2,000 by 2033 from about 650 currently, the report said.
Dunn said the higher production rate should help shorten wait times, but decisions on which countries receive missiles and in what order are made by the US government, the report said.
