03:18 PM EDT, 07/12/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Logitech International ( LOGI ) may delay its annual meeting after the company's founder secured a court order that prevents it from issuing invites, Bloomberg reported Friday, citing a court document.
The computer accessories maker is prohibited from issuing an invitation to the meeting, currently scheduled for Sept. 4, until the court resolves the conflict between the company and Daniel Borel, Bloomberg reported.
A court decision is expected after a hearing slated for July 26 and might be too late for the company to meet the requirement of giving shareholders at least 20 days notice before meeting.
At issue is Borel's demand that the company put up for vote the election of board member Guy Gecht as chair at the meeting which Logitech ( LOGI ) has reported rejected.
Logitech ( LOGI ) declined to comment to Bloomberg, while Borel reportedly told the publication that he was "satisfied" with the court order.
Logitech ( LOGI ) did not immediately respond to a request for comment from MT Newswires, while Borel could not be reached.
