03:11 PM EDT, 03/25/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Masimo ( MASI ) may opt for a joint venture as it evaluates a proposed spinoff of its consumer business, The Wall Street Journal reported Monday.

Chief Executive Joe Kiani reportedly told the Journal in an interview that an unnamed potential partner has approached the company.

Masimo ( MASI ) is considering the offer of the potential partner, the Journal quoted Kiani as saying. He reportedly did not provide further details of the offer.

Masimo ( MASI ) did not immediately respond to a request for comment by MT Newswires.
