06:43 AM EST, 02/28/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Meta Platforms ( META ) has terminated around 20 employees for leaking confidential information outside the company, the Verge reported, citing a company spokesperson.

The terminations follow a recent investigation into the matter, Meta spokesperson Dave Arnold told the Verge. The Facebook and Instagram parent expects that "there will be more" such actions, Arnold reportedly said.

Meta did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
