05:33 AM EDT, 08/22/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Meta Platforms ( META ) is hiring Frank Chu, another key Apple ( AAPL ) artificial intelligence executive, to join its Superintelligence Labs, or MSL, Bloomberg reported Friday, citing unnamed sources.

According to the report, Chu worked on running large language models on Apple's ( AAPL ) cloud servers, oversaw AI training, and contributed to developing search features for the Siri voice assistant and entertainment services.

He is now the sixth Apple AI expert to join Meta, following others like Ruoming Pang, who reportedly left for a $200 million deal, according to Bloomberg.

Apple ( AAPL ) and Meta did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
