03:29 PM EDT, 06/17/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Meta Platforms ( META ) and EssilorLuxottica plan to offer artificial intelligence-powered smart glasses under Oakley and Prada brands targeted for athletes, CNBC reported Tuesday.

The Oakley smart glasses may cost around $360, CNBC reported, citing a person familiar with the matter. Meta on Monday debuted an Instagram account for Oakley and Meta, saying, "The next evolution is coming on June 20," CNBC reported.

The timeline for the announcement of the Prada deal and product line isn't clear, the report said.

Meta didn't immediately respond to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
