According to the report, Hyderabad police are preparing to issue a notice to Meta regarding the case.

The case follows recent tensions between Meta and the Indian government after the IT ministry summoned Meta executives over the temporary restriction of one of Modi's Facebook posts, Reuters added.

Meta Platforms ( META ) didn't immediately reply to MT Newswires' request for comment.
