11:52 AM EDT, 06/10/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Meta Platforms ( META ) agreed to acquire a 49% stake in Scale AI for $14.8 billion and will place the data labeling startup's chief executive, Alexandr Wang, in a top position at the company, The Information reported Tuesday, citing people familiar with the matter.

Meta did not immediately reply to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
