Market Chatter: Meta's Instagram to Account for Half of US Advertising Revenue

06:59 AM EST, 12/18/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Meta Platforms Inc ( META ) Instagram will soon account for half of the company's US advertising revenue, Bloomberg reported Wednesday, citing research from the firm Emarketer.

Instagram is expected to generate $32 billion in US advertising revenue in 2025, up more than 24% from this year, according to data from Emarketer.

Instagram arguably has become the most important part of Meta's business, Bloomberg reported.

Meta did not immediately reply to MT Newswires' request for comment.
