01:54 PM EDT, 06/30/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Meta Platforms ( META ) Chief Executive Mark Zuckerberg said the company is reorganizing its artificial intelligence group with a focus on developing AI "superintelligence," referring to systems that can perform tasks as well as or better than humans, Bloomberg reported Monday, citing an internal memo.

The new unit, called Meta Superintelligence Labs, will oversee the company's AI work and be led by Alexandr Wang, the former CEO of Scale AI, according to the news outlet, citing the memo.

Meta did not immediately reply to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
