01:04 PM EDT, 07/22/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Microsoft ( MSFT ) has hired around two dozen Alphabet (GOOG, GOOGL) Google DeepMind employees in recent months to strengthen its artificial intelligence division, led by former DeepMind co-founder Mustafa Suleyman, CNBC reported Tuesday, citing an unnamed person familiar with the matter.

Amar Subramanya and Adam Sadovsky, two longtime Google ( GOOG ) and DeepMind veterans have joined Microsoft AI as corporate vice presidents, alongside former DeepMind engineers like Sonal Gupta and Jonas Rothfuss, as the company builds out its consumer-oriented AI team behind Copilot assistant and Bing search engine, the report said.

Both Microsoft ( MSFT ) and Google ( GOOG ) didn't immediately respond to MT Newswires' requests for comment.
