08:00 AM EST, 12/11/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Microsoft ( MSFT ) is part of a group with Acadia Infrastructure Capital and other companies looking to help develop a $9 billion pipeline of renewable energy projects across the US, Reuters reported Wednesday, citing the project lead.

The Climate and Communities Investment Coalition will have Microsoft ( MSFT ) as an anchor member and its recent first deal secured financing for Matrix Renewables' 210 megawatt solar project, backed by Microsoft ( MSFT ), the report said.

Microsoft ( MSFT ) did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
