Market Chatter: Microsoft to Cut Xbox Workforce Next Week Amid Reorganization

10:15 AM EDT, 06/24/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Microsoft ( MSFT ) will reduce its Xbox division workforce next week amid a company-wide reorganization, Bloomberg reported Tuesday, citing people familiar with the plans.

This would mark the fourth major round of layoffs at Xbox in the past 18 months, the report said.

Xbox division management expects substantial group-wide reductions, the report said.

Microsoft ( MSFT ) didn't immediately respond to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
