Market Chatter: Microsoft to Launch New AI-Focused Devices Ahead of Developer Conference

07:43 AM EDT, 05/20/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Microsoft ( MSFT ) is expected to reveal new versions of its Surface Pro tablet and Surface Laptop that feature AI-focused chips ahead of its annual developer conference, Reuters reported Monday.

The devices reportedly will feature Qualcomm chips, which are designed for AI-focused applications.

The new products will be launched Monday in an event at the company's Redmond, Washington campus, a day before the Build developer conference, the report said.

Microsoft ( MSFT ) did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
