11:53 AM EST, 11/12/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Microsoft ( MSFT ) will unveil an artificial intelligence "super factory" in Atlanta on Wednesday as part of its roadmap to double its data center footprint over the next two years to meet rising demand for computing power, The Wall Street Journal reported Wednesday.

The Atlanta factory is part of the company's Fairwater network of AI centers, according to the report.

The site will house Nvidia ( NVDA ) graphics processing units and feature dedicated connections to other Fairwater locations, according to the media outlet.

Microsoft's ( MSFT ) two-story construction enables better networking and reduced latency, while a novel liquid-cooling system allows for GPUs to be placed close together, the report said.

Microsoft ( MSFT ) did not immediately respond to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
