06:47 AM EDT, 06/10/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Microsoft ( MSFT ) unveiled new all-digital versions of the Xbox Series X and S consoles and trailers for over a dozen games, including the next "Call of Duty" at its annual Xbox Games Showcase on Sunday, Reuters reported.
The event featured a disc-less Xbox Series X and S and a special edition Series X with 2TB of storage, Reuters said.
It added that among the games on display were "Doom: The Dark Ages" and a new "Gears of War" installment, ending a five-year wait for fans. Many games, including "Doom" and "Call of Duty," were available on Xbox Game Pass at launch.
