04:21 PM EDT, 09/18/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Microsoft ( MSFT ) -backed OpenAI named former Coursera (COUR) executive Leah Belsky as its first general manager of education to expand AI products in schools and classrooms, Bloomberg reported Wednesday.
Belsky, formerly Coursera's ( COUR ) chief revenue officer, is expected to enhance engagement with educators and students in K-12, higher education, and continuing education, the report said.
OpenAI will host a meeting in October with university leaders to discuss AI adoption for teaching and research, the report said.
OpenAI didn't immediately respond to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
