Market Chatter: Microsoft-backed OpenAI to Offer AI-Powered Lawsuit Analysis for Brazil Government

02:40 PM EDT, 06/11/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Microsoft ( MSFT )-backed (MSFT) OpenAI is hired by Brazil government to speed up screening and analysis of lawsuits using artificial intelligence in an attempt to avoid costs linked to court cases, Reuters reported Tuesday.

OpenAI will alert the government on actions before decisions, map trends and potential action areas for the attorney general's office, according to the report.

Microsoft ( MSFT ) will provide artificial intelligence services from OpenAI through its cloud service Azure, the attorney general's office, or AGU, told Reuters.

Microsoft ( MSFT ), OpenAI and AGU did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' requests for comment.
