08:20 AM EDT, 10/24/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Mondelez International ( MDLZ ) is using a new generative artificial intelligence tool to slash marketing costs by 30% to 50%, Reuters reported Friday, citing Jon Halvorson, the company's global senior vice president of consumer experience.
Mondelez ( MDLZ ) started developing the tool in 2024 with Accenture ( ACN ) , and anticipates it will support the making of short TV ads to be aired as soon as next year, and potentially for the 2027 Super Bowl, Halvorson told Reuters. Mondelez ( MDLZ ) has invested over $40 million in the tool, Reuters reported, citing the executive.
Among Mondelez's ( MDLZ ) multiple food brands, Oreo will use the tool for product pages on Amazon.com (AMZN) and Walmart (WMT) in the US next month, while in the coming months the company plans to use the tool for Lacta chocolate and Oreo in Brazil, and Cadbury in the UK, Halvorson told the outlet.
Mondelez ( MDLZ ) did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
