03:11 PM EDT, 08/02/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Morgan Stanley ( MS ) told its financial advisors that the bank will allow them to offer shares of two exchange-traded bitcoin funds to eligible clients starting Wednesday, CNBC said Friday, citing people with knowledge of the policy.
The funds include BlackRock's ( BLK ) iShares Bitcoin Trust and Fidelity's (FIS) Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund, the people were quoted as saying.
The bank's decision was made in light of demand from clients and the bitcoin ETFs will be rolled out to clients with a net worth of at least $1.5 million, the report added, citing the people.
