06:10 AM EDT, 08/13/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Elon Musk must face claims by OpenAI that he engaged in a "years-long harassment campaign" against the startup, Bloomberg reported Wednesday.

According to the report, US District Judge Yvonne Gonzalez Rogers rejected Musk's request to dismiss claims that he used legal actions, social media posts and press statements to harm OpenAI and benefit how own artificial intelligence startup, xAI.

The ruling comes in an ongoing dispute that began last year when Musk sued OpenAI over its relationship with Microsoft Corp ( MSFT ) , the report said.

A trial is scheduled for March in a federal court in Oakland, California, Bloomberg said.

OpenAI did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
