07:31 AM EDT, 07/02/2025 (MT Newswires) -- The US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has opened a recall query into about 299,000 Stellantis ( STLA ) vehicles following complaints of faulty shifter cable bushings, Reuters reported Wednesday.

The agency is reviewing whether a 2019 recall fix applied to Dodge Dart vehicles was effective after receiving 44 complaints about worn or detached cables post-repair, according to the report.
