Market Chatter: Nike CEO Blames Remote Work for Lack of Fresh Shoe Offerings
Apr 12, 2024 12:38 PM

03:25 PM EDT, 04/12/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Nike ( NKE ) Chief Executive Officer John Donahoe blamed remote work for the company's lack of fresh new products, CNBC reported Friday.

"In hindsight, it turns out, it's really hard to do bold, disruptive innovation, to develop a boldly disruptive shoe on Zoom," Donahoe in an interview with CNBC from Paris.

Donahoe said Nike's ( NKE ) pipeline "is as strong as ever," and buyers can expect to start seeing new shoes each season, CNBC reported.
