Market Chatter: Nike Sells Digital Products Unit RTFKT

02:14 PM EST, 01/07/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Nike ( NKE ) has finalized the sale of its digital products unit RTFKT, deepening the athletic-wear giant's pullback from blockchain and NFT-based collectibles, Bloomberg reported Wednesday.

RTFKT moved to new ownership on Dec. 17, Nike ( NKE ) said, calling it a new chapter for the brand while reiterating its focus on innovation across physical, digital, and virtual experiences, according to the report.

The company did not disclose the deal terms or identify the buyer, Bloomberg added.

Shares of the company were down 2.4% in recent trading.

Nike ( NKE ) did not immediately reply to MT Newswires' request for comment.
