12:35 PM EDT, 04/01/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Nippon Steel has made a pledge in writing to the United Steelworkers union, including an additional $1.4 billion in capital spending and no layoffs until at least 2026, Bloomberg News reported, citing two people familiar with the matter.
