12:04 PM EDT, 08/29/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Novo Nordisk ( NVO ) has canceled employment contracts for some new hires in Denmark as part of cost-cutting measures, Bloomberg reported Friday.

The move follows the company's decision earlier this month to impose a global hiring freeze and reduce some employee bonuses, the report said.

Novo Nordisk ( NVO ) said the cancellations applied to candidates who had accepted job offers but had not yet started, and that affected hires will receive one month's pay and outplacement services, according to the news outlet.
