In the memo, Huang said that legal immigration is vital for US tech leadership and credited it as essential to Nvidia's ( NVDA ) success, according to the report.
Huang also said in a podcast interview that while the new fee may burden cash-strapped startups, well-funded tech firms like Nvidia ( NVDA ) can absorb the expense, Business Insider reported.
Nvidia ( NVDA ) didn't immediately respond to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
